Genetics
Since 1972 COOPERL has organised selection from a group of
highly specialised breeders. In order to become more effective,
COOPERL associated itself with other groups to form Nucleus
in 1994.
The
final goal is to achieve quality pork production on several levels:
breeding (zootechnical qualities) carcass quality (reduction of fat
deposits) and improved meat: (colour, quality, taste…).
